'Hit the Zone': New Injection Site Zone Posters Available

With a continued emphasis on Beef Quality Assurance, the beef industry is tightening its injection site zone by a hand's width in front of the previous zone. To help inform and remind producers to administer injections in the new injection site zone and to follow several easy-to-implement BQA practices, Novartis Animal Vaccines, Inc. is offering cattle producers, feedyard managers and owners a free BQA poster. The poster is ideal for placing in a processing area and an employee lunch break area.The 25-inch by 19-inch four-color poster provides a large graphic illustrating the beef industry's previous injection site zone and the new injection site zone. It also lists several easy-to-implement BQA practices.
